Thanks for visiting my website where I share knowledge on my two favourite topics, food and travel.

Food and travel has both been central to my working life as a chef and writer. It was becoming a chef in my mid-teens which led to opportunities to cook in Australia, Ireland, England and Turkey. Each country brought a new culture to explore and so much more to learn about food. Which pushed me to travel even more.

Over time I began to write about what I knew which ultimately led to me becoming co-author of 40 cookbooks and food guides while also establishing a culinary tour business in Melbourne, Australia.

My love of food and travel has never waned over the four decades since I first stepped into a restaurant kitchen. And my hope is that by sharing advice on what I have learned through writing and with innovative products, I can motivate others to also enjoy the best of food and travel.

I hope to inspire journeys to new cities to feast on local specialities. To eat at the world’s best markets and food stores, taste street food, visit restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries and cocktail bars.To explore galleries, museums, palaces, historical sites, beaches, parks and gardens. And to cook and eat with the seasons.
